HubSpot CRM Integration Guide

CueGrowth seamlessly integrates with HubSpot CRM, enabling users to sync contacts, automate lead management, and map deal stages to CueGrowth tags. This guide covers both basic integration steps and advanced features such as selective data syncing and deal stage mapping.

Step 1: Setting Up CueGrowth & HubSpot Integration

Connecting HubSpot to CueGrowth

  1. Go to Account SettingsIntegrationsHubSpot.

  2. Click Connect HubSpot and log in with your HubSpot credentials.


3. Authorize CueGrowth to access your HubSpot data.

4. Once connected, CueGrowth will sync with your HubSpot contacts and deals.

Step 2: Syncing CueGrowth Connections to HubSpot Contacts

Overview

Now when you have connected CueGrowth to Hubspot Users can now select specific columns from CueGrowth connections to sync with HubSpot contacts, ensuring only relevant data is transferred.

Steps to Sync Specific Fields

  1. Account SettingsIntegrationsHubSpot.

    1. Locate the “CRM Contact Fields” section.

    2. Select the HubSpot contact fields where CueGrowth will sync data from its connections.

    3. Click Save.

Make sure Hubspot user is chosen correctly

Default Fields:

By default, CueGrowth will sync the fields below, the rest feel free to add.

✅ Email
✅ First Name
✅ Last Name
✅ Company

How Updates Work:

  • If a contact was initially synced with only Email, First Name, Last Name, and Company, and later Phone Number was added to sync fields, the phone number will only update when the contact sends or receives a message in CueGrowth.

  • Similarly, if any default fields change, they will only update in HubSpot when a conversation occurs in CueGrowth.


Step 3: Mapping Deal Stages to CueGrowth Tags

Overview

Users can map HubSpot deal stages to tags in CueGrowth, making it easier to track contacts within the Connections tab and Inbox.

Steps to Map Deal Stages

  1. Account SettingsIntegrationsHubSpot.

    1. Locate the “Map Deal Stages to Tags” section.

    2. Enable the toggle button.

    3. Click on “Add New Deal Stage Mapping”.

    4. Use the drop-down menus to pick:

      • Pipeline

      • Stage

      • Tag

    5. Click Add and then Save.

How it Works:

  • Whenever the Deal Stage changes in HubSpot, the corresponding tag will be applied to the synced CueGrowth connection.

  • If a Deal Stage is updated, the old tag is removed and replaced with the new tag based on the stage.

  • Manual tags (added directly in CueGrowth) and bot-assigned tags (e.g., “Positive-AI-Defined”) will not be removed when deal stages are updated in HubSpot.


This feature allows Hubspot’s different deal stages to reflect on connections in the Connections tab and GX Inbox with tags.

Step 4: Importing HubSpot Contacts into CueGrowth

  1. Go to CueGrowth CampaignsCreate New Campaign.

  2. Select Import Contacts from HubSpot.

  3. Choose the contacts and lists you want to add/import.

  4. Click Import to sync HubSpot contacts into CueGrowth for outreach.


FAQs

Q: Do I need to manually update contact details in HubSpot?
A: No, updates occur when the contact engages in a new message exchange in CueGrowth.

Q: Will manual CueGrowth tags be affected by HubSpot deal stage changes?
A: No, only mapped deal stage tags are updated. Manual and bot-assigned tags remain unchanged.

Q: Can I remove the integration after setting it up?
A: Yes, you can disconnect HubSpot from CueGrowth at any time from Account Settings.
